Comments Off on OUT: Snow Queen Ep 1 – NEW PROJECT FROM Live-eviL !!!!
We’d like to kick off this weekend with a new series from Live-eviL. This is a new anime from NHK which started last month. It’s based on the classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale The Snow Queen.
It follows the story of a boy called Kay and a girl called Gerda. Their story starts during the happy times of summer but unbeknowest to them a cruel fate awates them with the onset of winter when they come face to face with THE SNOW QUEEN !!!!
This first episode follows their adventure in to the deep dark forest as they go looking for a mysterious church with a haunting melodic ring. Meanwhile the Snow Queen lurks in the shadows awaiting the onset of winter….. Will they find this mysterious church or will their trip have been in vain? Watch and see !
If you want to see the original fairy tale you can look at it here. However beware if you read it you will be reading spoilers !.
For those who are familiar with the fairy tale, this series is currently slated for a 39 episode run and so the story has been expanded and fleshed out a bit but we hope you enjoy it as much as we do !.
