There are a lot of people in Live-eviL who enjoyed Sailor Moon and wanted to subtitle it because of this passion. The obvious choice was the unlicensed section of the show, and arguably the best, the final season, Sailor Stars. The show ran from episodes 167-200 and concluded the end of a great run.
Just so you know, this is not a normal release. We’ve done an immaculate job touching up the video and had our resident audio editing expert, YaoiBoy, remaster the mono audio into a 5.1 surround sound track. I highly recommend you check it out. This should be the “reference” version of Sailor Stars as of 2006.
We’ll be giving this treatment for the entire show. If you download the mp4 version (x264) it includes the mono audio track, so you can have the original mono audio as well. The 5.1 track is in AAC audio.
The avi is there, in xvid, for the people who have issues with mp4 and x264. The avi version has dual audio with the remastered 5.1 track in ac3.
I hope you enjoy the fansubs and please post on our forum about what you think of it. This is a lot of work to redo a show like this, but we feel it’s worth doing. If you are curious about how the technique works, just ask on our forum. If you have playback issues, please post on there as well for tech support.
