Hello all.
The unthinkable has happened.
GKIDS has officially licensed Future Boy Conan!
Future Boy Conan has never been released in North America (Until now). Back in the early 90s, Streamline Pictures licensed FBC, dubbed it too.
Once Alexander Key’s estate caught wind of this, they sent a cease and desist letter to Streamline. I’m surprised Gkids was able to get this.
As usual, the files are now removed off the bots and torrents have been deleted.
Thank you for watching our Conan since 2009!

Ou, then I was among the lucky ones!
“Once Alexander Key’s estate caught wind of this, they sent a cease and desist letter to Streamline”
What’s the story there?
AlucardNoir, Streamline didn’t ask for permission to license Future Boy Conan. They got served with court documents and was ordered to comply. Had they went ahead and put Conan out on tape, they’d be sued and would have to pay Key’s Estate and other court penalties. Now that I think about it, Streamline were a bunch of thugs 🙂
Thanks for subbing this. I was never much for Miyazaki’s films but I really loved this anime. I hope they don’t mangle it too much when it’s released. With all his fans over here I’m surprised it took this long for it to be licensed.
