Today is the 14th July and it marks the anniversary of Bastille Day. On the 20th June the deputies of the Third Estate which represented the common population swore the Tennis Court oath that they would not separate untill a French National Constitution had been established. To show support for this oath the people of Paris stormed the Bastille Prison.

The storming the Bastille, which was regarded as a symbol of the absolutism of the French Monarchy, is usually considered the event marking the establishment of the Republic. There were only 7 inmates in the Bastille at the time of its storming however it was seen as an important symbol of defiance against the monarchy and a rallying point for the French People.

To mark this momentous anniversary which is a national holiday in France every year Live-eviL is today bringing you the final 2 episodes of Rose of Versailles. We start with Episode 39. Watch as Oscar helps the peasants to revolt and the tragic circumstances !.
