Tsubasa Chronicle

This series is based on CLAMP’s manga series ‘Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE’, currently being serialised in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine.

Sakura and Syaoran from Cardcaptor Sakura are back, but they aren’t alone. CLAMP’s brought together characters from all their creations for this alternate universe tale.

Syaoran, a boy who wants to become an archaeologist, and Sakura, the princess of the Clow Kingdom, are childhood friends with a close relationship.  On a fateful night, Sakura loses all her memories due to a strange incident that happens within an archeological dig in her home country; a conspiracy to obtain her powers. 

In order to regain her memory, Yukito, the Kingdom’s mage, who is capable of sending people to alternate worlds/ different dimensions,  sends Syaoran to the Dimensional Witch Yuuko (from xxxHolic).  When Syaoran seeks help from Yuuko, she tells him that he has to travel from one alternate reality to another to collect fragments of Sakura’s memory; her ‘lost wings’.  But Yuuko can only help Syaoran with his mission if Syaoran pays a price of equal value.  The price he has to pay is his relationship with Sakura, i.e. even if Sakura regains her memory, she will have no recollection of Syaoran.

Travelling together with them is Kurogane, a warrior who was exiled from his country, and Fye, a magician who wants to escape from his King.

With the help of a magical creature, Mokona (from xxxHolic & MKR), they set off on an painful, demanding but an exciting journey through time and space.

NOTE: Fye and Kurogane are original characters.
