We haven’t forgotten about this series, just had some (a lot of) complications which delayed its progress. Hopefully this will not be the case for the time being. Here tonight we present to you the first 2 completed parts of our project to sub the 2004 Summer Special Musical : Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu or as its otherwise known The New Legend of Kaguya Island.
Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu is a remake of the 1999 Musical Kaguya Shima Densetsu. It stars Marina Kuroki as the 4th Sailor Moon and it follows the adventures of the Senshi as they travel to the mysterious Island of Kaguya to receive special training. However everything is not as it seems when they go to the Island.
The main musical is still being worked on however we’ve finished 2 smaller parts of the project which we thought we’d share with you all.
First up is a short 16 second commercial which was used to promote the Musical prior to it opening in Japan on Japanese TV. The background footage is from the 2004 Fankansha event. Fankansha events are held approximately 2 months prior to the main musical to promote the musical and to serve as a thank you to all the loyal supporters.
Secondly we present the Service Numbers of the Musical or otherwise known as the encore performance. These come at the end of the musical after the curtain call but they can stand on their own. Its 4 minutes long and features all the Senshi singing 2 famours Myu songs which are, LINK which was first made popular in the original Kaguya Shima Densetsu and the theme song for all of the Myu’s which is La Soldier and has featured in every musical si
