I shall quote Wikipedia: “As of January 10, 2007, the anime series has been licensed by VIZ Media.” You can read about it on VIZ Media’s official site here. Ok so what does this mean? Are the fansub groups still going to be subbing them? Live-Evil have announced that they have dropped the subbing of Death Note. Toriyama World have also announced that they will be dropping Death Note. Animanda, however, have not announced that they will be dropping it. You should read the comments as Death Note fans enquire about the licensing of the show. So what happens with me? Well, if Animanda continues to sub Death Note, I will of course continue to follow the series by subs. However, if they were to stop subbing it, I will still continue on with raws.
